Hotel Child Care

CareTemps' Visiting Nanny Program matches a qualified professional Nanny with hotel guest families. The Nanny may supervise children in the hotel room or appropriate hotel recreation area approved by the parent or guardian.

Visiting Nannies are available at an hourly rate of $16 an hour with a four-hour minimum, plus a $10 travel fee. Holiday rates vary. Travel fee may vary, depending upon distance.

For your convenience, payment is made by major credit card (no money changes hands with the Nanny).

A "camp" offers on-site childcare and event planning services for children in association with corporate functions and conventions. Each "camp" is custom tailored to meet your group's specific childcare needs.

We clearly understand your concern about having someone in your home with whom you are not very familiar and who is responsible for the care and protection of your loved ones. This is why we perform an intense review and analysis of our Care Provider network to determine the best set of candidates for your requirements.

CareTemps is designed to meet your child or senior/adult care needs by uniting skilled care professionals with families desiring more than mere "sitting" for their family members. We provide a range of services from hourly care to permanent referral and individualized placement services.

TEMPORARY SERVICES

The Visiting CompanionCare Program (for seniors/adults) and the Visiting Nanny Program (for children) provide registered families with a thoroughly screened Care Provider network available 24-hours per day, seven days a week. What differentiates these programs from a "sitting service" is that the Care Providers are employees of CareTemps rather than independent contractors. CareTemps employs skilled and experienced providers. To ensure your peace of mind when using our service, we have developed an unsurpassed Care Provider screening process. All Care Providers are stringently screened by a private investigation agency prior to interviewing or working with any family. CareTemps removes the employer liability from the family for taxes, unemployment, etc. We also carry our own ERISA policy to cover employees should they be injured on the job. The Visiting CompanionCare Program and the Visiting Nanny Program provide reliable and accessible backup 365 days a year.

INDIVIDUALIZED PLACEMENT SERVICES

All families seeking to personally hire a full or part-time Care Provider begin the process by registering in the Visiting CompanionCare Program or Visiting Nanny Program. An Individualized Family Assessment is used to find the best possible match of a Care Provider with your family. The placement process takes approximately 1- 4 weeks. If a family should not choose to hire a Care Provider on a full-time basis, the family will remain enrolled in the Visiting CompanionCare Program or Visiting Nanny Program. Regardless of your ultimate care arrangements, you can access backup care for a period of one year from the time of enrolling.

How It Works:

A simple intake is completed to initiate services. This assists us in knowing your specific needs. When care is needed, simply contact our agency, 24 hours per day, by calling (713) 263-9440. A minimum of four hours must be scheduled. Emergency care also is available, usually within two hours to registered families. Our staffing coordinator will take your request. A care provider will be assigned, and you will be contacted with their name and additional information. Permanent placement services are also available to meet your individual needs.

How Do We Get A Nanny?

Our agency is available to you around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phoning (713) 263-9440. To help us plan for you, please contact us at least 12 to 24 hours in advance of needed care. HOWEVER ... quick response for care requests is usually available within 2 hours.

Our Staffing Coordinator will discuss your request with you and confirm all details. A Visiting Nanny will be engaged for your assignment. You will be given her name, professional experience and training.

There is a 5-hour minimum assignment length required to reserve your Visiting Nanny. For your convenience, payment is made by major credit card (Visa, Master-card, American Express, Discover). (No money exchanges hands with the Nanny.)
